Roamnote

A private location diary that remembers where your days went.

Roamnote is an Android location diary. It records your route in the background, turns stops into visits, and lets you revisit any day on a map. History syncs to your own account, or stays only on your phone.

What it does

Your day, drawn on a map

See every route and stop for any day, with photos pinned where you took them.

Visits, found for you

Stops longer than a few minutes become visits. Fix the arrival or departure time if it's off.

Gentle on your battery

Tracking slows down while you're still and picks up again as soon as you move.

Private by default

Sync to your own account with Google sign-in, keep a diary on the phone only, and make encrypted backups.

How it works

Roamnote is for looking back at where your days went, without handing a continuous location history to anyone else.

Roamnote runs a foreground service that saves each location to the phone’s database before anything is uploaded, so nothing is lost when you’re offline. An adaptive tracker watches motion signals and slows down when you’ve been still for a few minutes. Stops become visits, which you can edit while keeping the original times.

Sync goes straight to Supabase. Protected database functions check every write against the signed-in account, and deletes sync across devices so removed history doesn’t come back.
